Editorial Reviews

Library Journal

On a steamboat ride to Montana, Miss Fannie Rousseau meets the Reverend Samuel Beck. The two are polar opposites. She is a spoiled rich girl, and he is en route to help the poor who live in the wilderness. Nothing could make the two fall in love in this novel by Whitson (Sixteen Brides), and yet.... VERDICT This engaging tale features a strong female protagonist who faces many bumps on the way to love. Recommend it to readers of Janette Oke for its heroine and setting.
