About the Author

Thomas M. Clark has long celebrated period furniture and antiques, having studied and collected them from his base in New England. With years of experience in examining and verifying the many pieces which have come his way, he has gained something of an authority in valuation. Having also personally engaged in restoration of a few pieces over the years, the precise appearance of these past treasures has been a great focus of his. He can often be spotted in antique sales and auctions all around New England, which has become renowned for its convergence of old furnishings originating Stateside and in Europe.

When not examining aged items, Thomas enjoys long walks in nature as well as watching old movies, in particular Westerns. He has happily raised three children, and enjoys spending quality time with them and his wider family.
