CHAPTER 1
It was really cold on Halloween night, Then it started to snow – what a great sight!
The moon was full so the witches would fly, With bats on their brooms across the blue sky.
The kids played in the snow, when to their surprise, A snowman appeared before their very eyes.
"How are you Mr. Snowman?" the kids would say, "It's great having you here on Halloween day!"
"Come along with us and we'll have some fun, We'll introduce you to everyone!"
"You'll need a costume Mr. Snowman and we'll trick or treat", The snowman replied; "I'll show you something that's really neat."
With a twist of his hat, the snowman looked like an Irish Setter, Wearing a baseball cap and a bright orange sweater.
The snowman begged for treats at each lighted house, And barked at a girl who was dressed as Minnie Mouse.
Mr. Snowman wanted a new costume real soon, Perhaps a "Wonder Witch" who could fly around the moon.
What would be his next amazing disguise? He changed into a playful panda with big, black eyes.
He went door to door, up and down every street, Stopping only to rest and sample a treat.
Then, the snowman hid behind a big oak tree, When he popped out, a Ninja Turtle he would be.
Pretending to scare the children as they walked by, Till a little fairy princess ran off and started to cry.
The snowman decided that it would be more fun, If he were a Halloween prince; then no one would run.
He dressed in an orange suit with his magical hat, He gave the kids all his candy so he wouldn't get fat.
Next, he dressed as a clown with a red nose and big feet, Laughing and clapping as he danced down the street.
He was friendly to all the ghosts and the goblins, He told spooky stories and fixed costume problems.
