Sometime in the 1910s, Notion City was lost in a large Fog bank, preventing any travel from in or out of the city. When it finally cleared, the city was gone and, eventually, forgotten.
But the people inside continued to live on. After twenty years, they have learned to adapt by sharing their lives with the strange, and frightening, creatures they've found on the other side of the Fog.
In a world with thousands connected by the minutia of their lives, it would be unjust to leave any story out. Each Notion contains a separate short story,often no more than five thousand words and accompanied by illustrations. Every few of these stories will share some connecting event in Notion City.
