Overview

A LIZARD IN THE SUN (THE CONCLUSION OF “ROBBER BARON,” “THE BLESSING AND THE CURSE,” and “PRAYER FOR RELIEF,”)(PART FOUR)
Jake Morrison, lawyer, is stymied in the courtroom. Baron, the Trust Bank manager, has masterfully played a game of legal intrigue, effectively and metaphorically binding Jake’s hands in accepting the blame for the Bank’s activities. But Jake solicited the help of his girlfriend, the angel Zara Jane, to retrieve a damning bank document that has been well-hidden from all human eyes. This is his trump card, but can he play it in time? The story moves with a bullet-train’s pace towards a fascinating courtroom conclusion.

About the Author

My purpose in writing this book is to introduce you, the reader, to think about a courtroom drama in a new way. This book can transport you to a different world, if you allow in the elements of mystery and surprise. There is a mythological Angel in my stories, who provides the structural “home” base.

The series also features Jake Morrison, attorney at law, who finds himself drawn into a legal situation which requires him to unravel the caper as the clock winds down towards the conclusion of the matter at hand. Time is of the essence, and the stakes are high. Jake realizes that law is a puzzle – an interplay between light and dark forces -- and that he would need almost a clairvoyant’s skill to separate them in time.

Enjoy the journey!
