About the Author

Joanne Elisha Yeo is an aspiring writer from Singapore who is passionate about creative writing. She has written a wide genre of literary works for both adults and children, ranging from short stories to poetry. Her poems are mainly contemporary and experimental. History is one of her favorite subjects and research topics; her interest in history has motivated her to write a poetry chapbook based on the World War II Jewish Holocaust, titled 'Shoah: Remembering the Forgotten'.

Apart from writing, Joanne also illustrates. After graduating from college in May this year (2014), she hopes to pursue a degree in Psychology while continuing to write in her leisure.
