John Kendrick Bangs (May 27, 1862 – January 21, 1922) was an American author, humorist, editor and satirist. Although he spent a good deal of his professional life working for popular magazines, such as Harper's Bazaar, Puck, and Life, he simultaneously wrote an impressive number of books and articles.
