"Read the trigger warnings before reading. It was a great story love the build up. It was an enjoyable read, I would live to read more from this author."
"I was impressed it stated out slow and then really got into the story was a really good read will be watching for more"
"if you love historical romance, this is for you. now the book does progress through time and end in a modern-day setting, but I love books written in true historical settings showing the patriarchy and how women had to be. Jenna was a girl who's life was right on track with the man she cared for ready to profess his want for her respectfully as society dictates but then everything is flipped and she is now a stain on her families name due to a vampire. she finds her way through terrible people and trusts the wrong ones to having her own voice but never truly knowing why this happened to her.. the cliffy that this was left on had me clenched. I need book 2 now. Paige, the narrator, did an amazing job with all the accents and the cool demeanor of the character in the time periods dictated and portrayed fantastically her evolution."
"What an amazing story teller Tanya DeClercq is, only superseded by an amazing narration. The way it was narrated and how the story flowed was absolute perfection! Just please read the TW warnings before purchasing."
"I just finished A LIFE FORGED IN DEATH by Tanya DeClercq & narrated by Paige Reisenfeld. If I were to describe this book with one word, it would be MAGNIFICENT When I saw a review that this book has many twists & turns, they weren't kidding. The way each change flows into the next is so well done *chef's kiss* This is the 1st audiobook narrated by Paige Reisenfeld & she was so impressive. Female or male, each character was perfectly done ❤️ Please take a moment to listen to this one!"
"Reading this book on my own was amazing, many twists and turns, confusion gets resolved only moments before a new confusion is created keeping you on the edge of your seat! As Jenna tries to piece all the parts of her life together, learning who she is and what light she could possibly have considering...what she is now. The audio book will suck you in even further! Paige brings Tanya's story to life with a great pace, quality accents (I'm a huge fan of Marcus' voice) and is not only an easy listen but I doubt you'll turn it off once started because, like I said, it keeps you on the edge! Over all, top tier experience and I highly recommend listening to this quality book! (It's a cliff hanger so keep up with Tanya DeClercq for book #2!"
