About the Author

Darius Strong is an African American poet who grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He went to the Northern Illinois University, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2016 and Master's of Education in Clinical Mental Counseling in 2020. After sharing his poetry with friends and family, he self-published her first collection of poetry, A Letter to You.

Linsley Walker is an African American poet who grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She has been writing poetry for over 15 years and has shared her poems with friends and family over the years.
