A Letter to the Christian Church
Judge not or be judged, a teaching we have all learned growing up and yet, in today's society we judge and are more prideful than ever before.
It is critical in the world today that we read and understand, see the world for what it is and take care of the fulfillment of scripture. Throughout the world be and women are being judged by scripture that was never intended. Non-Christian groups, sets and cults are taking form in ready fashion due in part to the Christian eager condemnation of themselves and others.
One of the greatest issue of this age is "Homosexuality" or being born Gay. It is an issue that burns in every church and place of scripture without the humanity intended of the scriptures to lead man into an understanding and roles for the community.
Modern day Religious misquote and mislead their followers about a number of hearty issues but the one most talked about is Homosexuality.
Jesus himself refers to the in hospitality of Sodom (Luke 10:10-13) but says nothing about homosexuality. If we allow or agree that the verb "to know" refers to sexual intercourse, that what is being referred to in this case is Rape.
The significant point here is all rape, regardless, is considered horrible by God. The Sodom story needs a closer look and a better understanding of its meaning as it was intended. First it is impossible that all the men of the city were gay, if that had been the case the city would have died out on its own, it would have ceased to exist of its own accord. From the scripture we can see that the men were a group of evil men attempting to be abusive to people who were different.
