When their unit is ambushed and all but completely wiped out, Korel and Toki embark on a dangerous mission to bring those responsible to justice. A mission they likely won't return from. However, this isn't the only problem chasing them. The two have been keeping secrets from one another. Secrets that threaten to pull them apart forever. Can they find a way to make it through this alive, and will Toki find the right time to confess her true feelings to Korel before it's too late?

About the Author

Mr. Brogath is a raccoon who writes, and sometimes teaches others to do the same. A muse who wasn't great at his job, he has taken many forms over the years. Even a human one, though he only uses it when absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, they refuse to assign things like social security numbers to raccoons. Such nonsense. These days, he mostly hangs around online in this virtual raccoon form you see here. If you don't see him digging through your trashcan, he's probably writing another light novel.
