About the Author

Jerry Peterson has been writing stories ever since his parents gave him a toy rotary press for Christmas when he was 12. But he wouldn't write his first Christmas story until he was 60, that story, "Cedar Trees," set in the Great Smoky Mountains in 1926. While he has lived and worked in Michigan, Kansas, Colorado, West Virginia, Virginia, and Tennessee, today he lives and writes in his home state of Wisconsin, the land of brats, beer, and good books.
