Steven Harvey of Bar-Ilan University, Israel provides a preface to this edition (which is a reprint of the 1941 edition), discussing how Husik's analyses of major medieval Jewish philosophical thinkers still hold value today despite the abundance of scholarship that has appeared since he did his work.
