Yes, it is a romance novel, but I would really say that it is a Lisa M. Lane historical mystery with romance thrown in. The story flows in such a way that you can't put the book down because you want to know if your assumptions are correct only to find out that you're wrong each time. You have to keep reading to find out what the next twist will bring.

A Heart Purloined by Lisa M. Lane was a fun, fast-paced mystery romance with many twists and turns. I loved how this novel kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. There were many times I found myself laughing aloud and other times my heart would break a little and my eyes would well up with tears.
