Overview

"A feeling becomes stronger by being taken away so swiftly. I know this, because I will die soon. The forest knows it. It feels like abandoning a friend, and I feel helpless in my situation. But I know the forest will live on, despite the loss of its believer. If only more people were able to see the beauty and loss within the forest. Then it would leave no room for regret."

"A Forest Alive" is a short story about nature, love, and loss.
