Seeking the help of the Supernatural Affairs Unit (SnAfU for short), it is soon discovered that Amelia is under attack in the dream-world, a world beyond even Jessica's newfound reach!
With the aid of Victor, a strange government clerk that lies somewhere between god and man, and Carmen, a juvenile delinquent with mysterious powers, they must traverse the dream-world and bring Amelia back to reality, lest the three of them be doomed to wander forever in the lands of unreality.
Can they safely navigate these strange landscapes, full of bizarre, yet somehow familiar, people and creatures? What dreams await them as they seek to rescue this powerful goddess, laid low by a reclusive god?
