About the Author

Albert Detore was born the oldest of seven children. He grew up in Brooklyn during the 1950s. He lived at various times in a home owned by his grandparents who immigrated to the US from Italy in the early 1900s. Albert came to know Christ as an adult in November 1983 after reading a book called The Power for Living. From that day forward, he was committed to dedicating all that he did in this life to Christ. Five months after Albert accepted Jesus as Lord of his heart, he relocated from New York to Texas and met his future wife, Susan. They have been married over thirty-seven years. They have four grown children; three sons and a daughter, and eleven grandchildren.Albert's journey to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ through print first began in 1999 when he self-published A Poetic Journey through the Bible. He retired after thirty-five years in the Investment Banking industry as an Operations Specialist and has served honorably in both the US Army and the Texas Army National Guard.
