USA Today Bestselling author K.A. Parkinson was raised in a small suburb where she spent her summers hiding under her bed with a book, a flashlight, and a bag of cookies. She began writing to give teens she mentored clean and inspiring stories that not only entertain, but teach powerful messages. She is now the author of six novels.
