A white, blue, and yellow color scheme results in a crisp look, while vibrant full-page photo spreads afford readers an up-close look at professionals at work. Sidebars such as "Tool Time!" further explain images while building upon children's existing knowledge. A visual recap of the tools is appended and all are clearly labeled. Although there is no additional content, students are directed to the publisher's website for further information and resources. VERDICT A suitable supplemental purchase.
