About the Author

John Hultink, based in Niagara, Ontario, Canada, is the founder of Book Depot in Thorold; the founder of Paideia Press in St. Catharines; and the founder of the reformed magazine Christian Renewal. He is also a real estate developer and investor. John has three daughters, all whom are married, and several grandchildren.

H. Evan Runner (1916-2002) graduated with honours from Wheaton College. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary. He subsequently received an invitation to become a junior fellow at Harvard University where he worked under Werner Jaeger. A Master's degree at Westminster followed his work at Harvard. He then earned the Ph.D. degree from the Free University of Amsterdam and taught philosophy at Calvin College until his retirement in 1981.
