Prince Aloneous doesn't understand why his sister is out to destroy him. About the Author

Alan John Mayer was born in Casablanca, Morocco, and grew up along the North African and European Mediterranean rim. Before graduating from high school, he had attended eleven schools on three continents. Life was all about change.

At fifteen, he was thrust into a series of homes, the fourth in the heart of Europe’s coal mining country—the Ruhr Valley. In shock, he hopped a train to his favorite aunt’s house in the country, and on his four years paperboy and lawn care savings in the States, she arranged for him to visit several former classmates of hers who, after the war, had emigrated to seven European capitols.

In 1978, Alan began a life in Southern California, and a journal. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater and Television Production from the University of California Irvine, a multi-lingual K-Adult Teaching Credential from same, and a Practitioner’s license from Ernest Holmes College in Los Angeles, California.

His biggest childhood literary influences were, and continue to be, Wilhelm Busch, Jane Wagner, and Lily Tomlin.
