Overview

Board the train of thought that will deliver you to Entitlement Station in the heart of Abundance, where the coronation of a lifetime is underway.

Princess Pristine has just been coroneted Queen of Entitlement, to rule over the sixteen (somewhat) United States of Consciousness. Her Majesty's uninvited twin sister, princess Erica, crashes the coronation with her eyes on the Crown.

Prince Godwyn Bonheur, widower with two unruly teenage daughters, attends the coronation with his eyes on the Queen. Your front row ticket to the royal coronation awaits you, seated between Queen Mother Marguerite and Nanny Carabella Needlepinch. Listen in, you might catch an earful of questionable activities- both above, and below stairs.

Book I: OBSESSED introduces the reader to the sixteen United States of Consciousness, the royal Goldspinner family, palace staff, and Court Parliamentarians.

Book II: HOODWINKED, Fear invades the Gaps of Tolerance. Twinspiration draws Queen Pristine and princess Erica together in the spirit of Nanny Needlepinch.

Book III: THE GRAND TOUR, Reserve your first-class stateroom next to the royal family aboard HMS Consciousness for the 1924 Grand Tour of the States.

Book IV: THE LIE sets the reader among the pageantry of palace life... but a crown doesn't necessarily guarantee a happily-ever-after.

Book V: POSSESSED casts the reader out of the palace, into Discord, proving even the most royal is not always the most loyal.

Book VI: LOST in CONFUSION guides the reader into Chaos and through the States, in an in-depth personal search for truth.

Book VII: VICTORY OVER SELF leads the reader back to the palace, where we learn the most important kingdom to conquer is the kingdom within.

About the Author

Alan John Mayer was born in Casablanca, Morocco. As a child dependent of his United States Department of Defense parents, he found himself surrounded by constant change. By high school, he had attended eleven schools, in seven countries, on four continents.

From eleven to fifteen, he held a morning paper route, and an afternoon lawn care service. At fifteen, he found himself thrust into a series of ‘foster’ homes, the fourth in the heart of Europe’s coal mining country, Germany’s industrial Ruhr Valley. He got on a train to his favorite aunt’s house in the country. Not knowing what to do with a fifteen year-old boy, on his savings, she arranged for him to visit friends who had emigrated to several European capitals.

In 1978, he moved to Southern California, and began a daily journal. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater and Television Production from the University of California, Irvine, a K through Adult multi-lingual Teaching Credential from the University of California, (both with honors,) and an M.A. in Childhood Development from the University of Life, in Forgiveness. He loves animals, gardening, and reading.
