About the Author

A Beautiful Heritage is Tabatha and Chris’s debut collaboration. It was a brainchild created from years of Tabatha’s personal journals she kept throughout her life. Tabatha was only twenty-four years old when she took over guardianship of her beloved father, Charlie. She was a single mother of three, working in healthcare when she began her life as a caregiver. Tabatha met her soon-to-be husband, Chris, while training in her field, and they quickly fell for each other. They married and blended their family of seven children while also caring for Charlie. Their journey as caregivers lasted for sixteen years.

The book is a very raw and honest inside look into their lives as parents and caregivers. When Chris and Tabatha are not working or writing, Tabatha loves cooking, playing board games, and making crafts for her family and friends. Chris enjoys letterboxing, working on his collection of trains, traveling, and scuba diving with his wife.
