Overview

Humorous, educational little poems about animals, designed especially for children.
The poems can help them to understand importance of respect, tolerance, helpfulness, learning, discovery, as well as teach them not to be afraid, to try new things, to be curious, open, appreciative and positive.
There is a poem about a cross eyed bee with missing leg (who, once found by other bees, gets help and becomes part of the community), about a bat who is scared of darkness, or a duck who fears water, (both get encouraged and supported), about an albino frog, who feels anxious about being different or a rhino who considers himself unattractive, (of course – the two are getting the reassurance and comfort).
In times of biases, intolerance, hatred and cruelty it is important to educate children that what’s different is not worse and we need to look after those, who are less privileged, weaker, scared or in danger. Especially children can be very catty and it is crucial to teach them in an understandable way, to be kind, mindful, supportive and generous.
