Features: The book is divided into sections on preventive medicine, internal medicine, surgery, etc., and then chapters based on individual studies. Each chapter outlines the research question, the funding source, dates of the study, sample characteristics, and most importantly, the results of the study and implications for clinical translation.
Assessment: What makes this book extraordinary are the summaries of the studies followed by the implications for medical practice. This is a most important summarization for every clinician in practice and, hopefully, the author will follow up with updated editions in the future.
