About the Author

Jack Pachuta is a mysterious guy who has a secret life as a chief inspector. That's who he is to his worldwide base of clients that buy his murder mystery parties from his websites, www.mysteries-on-the-net.com, www.kids-mysteries.com and www.mysterypartyhost.com. Jack has been writing and coordinating mystery parties since 1982 and combines his mystery-writing skills with his career as a professional speaker, trainer and consultant. Selling both his corporate development products and the mystery packages, Jack speaks to groups around the world about negotiations, sales, communications, and - of course - the Internet. Jack was the field director of the first interactive use of cable television in America and a vice president of one of Forbes's Magazine's "200 Best Small Companies." His career path has included radio and television, financial service, turbine-generators, and even guided missiles. Holding masters degrees from both the University of Southern California and Michigan State University, Jack's clients have included ShopKo, Jockey International, Maytag, Kaytee Products, the Asia Pacific Institute for Management Development in Singapore, Thomson Audio Products Hong Kong, Multi-Finance of Athens, Greece and Connex of Romania. He's also taught graduate and undergraduate course at many colleges and universities in the Milwaukee area. A past president of the Wisconsin chapter of the National Speakers Association, Jack is a member of the Cedarburg Artists Guild and the League of Milwaukee Artists. He met his English wife, Renira, over breakfast in Portugal while they were both living in Germany. They now have two daughters, a cat named Zoe and a house bordering a Christmas tree farm in southeastern Wisconsin where Jack maintains his subterranean world headquarters. (Some people call it his basement office.)
