Overview

44 is Emma's first collection of poetry. Each poem invites you into your own journey of self-reflection as the author shares from her heart. Whilst Emma reflects on her own experiences and challenges within her poetry, her intention is to act as a mirror for you to explore your own inner world and come to your own conclusions about what the words represent for you. The book is divided into 4 verses, Connect, Process, Release and Liberate. After each verse there are a few blank pages where you will be able to write or draw about what emotions and thoughts surfaced for you.

★★★★★
"These words on paper are an overflow of pure emotion, a mirror held up to the beautiful and perhaps less desirable parts of us. A candid expression of the human experience. This poetry tells a story that, as you read, you realise you have lived too. The writing invites reflection which we all need a little room for in our lives. Thank you, Emma, for your vulnerability."

About the Author

Emma is 28, a book-lover, travel enthusiast, born creative and performer and, also, an introvert, that loves to spend my time in nature, writing poetry, and in self-reflection. Professionally, she has self-published a book on poetry, 44: A Journey Through Poetry, and contributes to the world through her unique weaving of words. She also publishes a newsletter, podcasts, holds space for deep-thinkers and creatives, offers thought partnership and facilitates meditation.

Poetry, to Emma, is both a processing and communication tool, as well as a piece of art that can only come from the heart. With her writing, she follows what sparks her curiosity and loves to share on the themes of love, grief and faith as well as answer the question that is always on her mind, what does it mean to be truly human? Her work so far, is inside a very large Google Doc, one self-published book, shared her Instagram page @emmacampbellpoetry and her Substack, Uncomfortably, Beautifully Human.

Emma’s intention through her work is to create space for herself and others to feel the continuum of human emotion. Emma's philosophy is that when we're open to witnessing and feeling what's present inside, we experience a more intimate connection with life.
