Kelly Langston is passionate about helping others find the Promised Land that God has prepared for His children. Using scripture as a roadmap and Biblical promises as fuel for the journey, Kelly believes that every believer can find the extraordinary life that Christ died to give us.
Kelly's second book reaches out to the "secret army" of God, those who are willing to carry critical local, national and world issues to the throne of the Almighty, knowing that God honors His promises and will respond.
In 40 Prayers for Perilous Times: Powerful Intercessory Prayers for an Upside-Down World, Kelly teaches the concept of promise-driven prayer, encouraging readers to discover an often-overlooked, yet powerful way pray.
In 2009, Kelly authored her first book, Autism's Hidden Blessings: Discovering God's Promises for Autistic Children and Their Families published by Kregel Publications, teaching parents of special needs children about powerful Biblical promises for their families. These are the same promises that God honored to help her own family soar above autism.
Kelly is married to Matt and mother of two vivacious children. Her blog, http://www.kellylangston.com, resonates with families from around the world. Featured posts share the ups, the downs, the doubts and the fears that every Christian feels, whether they tell you about them or not.
Kelly has written professionally since her early days in the journalism school of The Ohio State University writing for The Lantern.
Kelly has spoken about faith in the face of autism for events including a Disability Summit for Joni & Friends, and as a guest on Canada's Miracle Channel. Her articles have appeared in P31 Magazine of Proverbs 31 Ministries. She has been a contributing writer for Not Alone, a website of encouragement for special needs families.
Kelly finds authentic Christianity a thrilling, amazing, powerful, supernatural, and humbling journey back to the home where we truly belong. Connect with Kelly at http://www.kellylangston.com.
