Dr. Latorial Faison is an African American poet and author raised in the rural south with degrees in English Literature from the University of Virginia and VA TECH and a doctoral degree in Eduction from one of the nation's top HBCU's, Virginia State University.

Dr. Faison's writing has been published nationally and internationally in literary outlets such as Southern Women's Review, Chickenbones: A Journal, Kalyani Magazine, and BET's Digital Drum. This author is featured in the NAACP Image Award Winning book KEEPING THE FAITH.

Dr. Faison is a poet, author, and college English professor who writes poetry, fiction, and nonfiction.
