Major Findings From This Year's 2014 Tax Hiring Outlook Include:

Tax department staffing will be 10% more difficult this year relative to 2013.
There is a huge increase in the amount of companies that will not be hiring for new positions or replacing turnover in 2014 compared to last year.
Confidence in tax department compensation levels has increased in 2014 as a result of the increased hiring that was done in 2013; however 30% of those surveyed are still not confident that their tax department compensation levels are up to market standards.
