Major Findings From This Year's 2014 Tax Hiring Outlook Include:
� Tax department staffing will be 10% more difficult this year relative to 2013.
� There is a huge increase in the amount of companies that will not be hiring for new positions or replacing turnover in 2014 compared to last year.
� Confidence in tax department compensation levels has increased in 2014 as a result of the increased hiring that was done in 2013; however 30% of those surveyed are still not confident that their tax department compensation levels are up to market standards.
� Companies are asking internal HR groups to fill more high demand, low supply technical tax jobs during a year when recruiting will be more difficult and budgets will be constrained.
