Overview

This book has existed in several different forms since 2014 and it is literally the remnants of a scaled down version of my first book which is known as "The Son Above The Clouds" (2010). This book exists because of the Venice Beach Library (Abbot Kinney Branch). My original manuscripts were created in the summer of 2010 several feet away from the beaches where I slept on a nightly basis.

About the Author

I am currently experimenting with short prose; all of my findings are not posted on this website. Free verse with slant rhymes are extremely familiar to me, thriving in my comfort zone does not require very much effort. Stanzas preferably quatrains are not a must and my line breaks are somewhat unconventional, I was once instructed to avoid the cliches but there are moments when rhyming (moon with June) is absolutely necessary. I admire the forms that require rigorous discipline yet I rarely ever write any of them. I believe Sensory Imagery can turn any poem into a masterpiece. My name is Kenroy Freckleton and I have always been a Poet.
