About the Author

Augusto Cury is a psychiatrist, researcher and writer. He has developed the Theory of Multifocal Intelligence (tim), which studies the complex process of thought construction, the formation of the Self as a psychic administrator, and the roles of memory. His innovative ideas have been adapted as graduate courses at universities in Brazil.
