Overview

BoyNextDoor find themselves teetering between youth and adulthood on 2024's 19.99. The third EP from the K-pop outfit, 19.99 (a reference to moving from age 19 to 20) showcases the group's upbeat and romantic blend of pop, hip-hop, and R&B. Produced by the group's KOZ label owner Zico along with Pop Time, the album also finds singers Jaehyun, Taesan, and Woonhak co-writing many of the songs. Cuts like "Gonna Be a Rock," "Nice Guy," and "20," are hooky, lyrical anthems that feel like the members of BoyNextDoor are drawing upon their own experiences searching for love and adventure as they say goodbye to their teenage years and hello to their next decade of pop. ~ Matt Collar
