She kept journals, recording her impressions and experiences until she returned to Western Europe by the end of 1962.
This book covers a fascinating period in the new State of Israel under P.M. Ben-Gurion, when Jewish immigrants came from all over the world. It also describes the passage of a young woman into adulthood during the 1960's.
