Overview

A collection of quotes, insights and contemplations on life, business, wealth, work, art, purpose and finding more peace in our daily lives.

Written by an introverted yoga teacher, bi-polar meditator, "digital nomad" entrepreneur and cultural misfit who drinks copious amounts of green tea.

"People think that being unemployed and single is the worst situation possible.
I say it’s one of the best situations possible because it gives you plenty of time and space to read books, learn new skills, start a business and work on yourself."
~ Michael Hetherington

Inspired over many years of practice and study in yoga, Buddhist meditation, digital nomading, Chinese medicine and the fine art of staring out of a window.

About the Author

Michael Hetherington L.Ac, BHlthSci, is a qualified acupuncturist, Oriental medicine teacher, and yoga teacher based in Brisbane, Australia. He has been practicing yoga since 2000 and working with Chinese medicine since 2004. He has a keen interest in mind-body medicine, energetic anatomy, nutrition and herbs, yoga nidra and Buddhist style meditation.

Michael was always attracted to eastern philosophy and it was this interest that drew him to the teachings and practices of yoga and Oriental medicine at a young age. After traveling to China to teach English for a year, he returned to Australia in 2004 to begin studying Chinese medicine, remedial massage and practicing oki-do (Japanese yoga) and hatha yoga more seriously.

He regularly hosts workshops and develops short courses on topics related to self health care, yoga and meditation.
