Overview

The protagonist is bent and broken. Having been through an awful marriage and and even worse divorce, she imagines how she can finally be free of her ex-husband, who was violent and unpleasant at best during their marriage and a nightmare after their divorce. She manages to get through life thinking about all the moments in time where she was wounded in words and emotions, and how different ways to end a life could somehow make her feel better.

In flashbacks and moments in time, we see what her ex was like, and how this antagonist shaped and formed our protagonist's actions. He's a real piece of unpleasant work, one which even a lot of male readers might find ugly. Will she finally give in and find a way to commit "the perfect murder"? Will she really do it? Read the book to find out!

About the Author

Ms. Thomas has spent years crafting words for others who couldn't write or didn't know how to write, never once gaining a byline for her work. Clients claimed the words as their own, wanting to have blogs but not wanting to do the work themselves. The pandemic allowed Ms. Thomas the time and motivation to dust off some of her own work and finally finish it. Her dark and daring tale is a mixture of genres sure to hold interest for many readers.

Ms. Thomas started writing in fourth grade. In sixth grade, she trusted her teacher to read some of her work, which was also illustrated by her. Encouraged by said teacher, Ms. Thomas has been waiting for just the right moment and the right story to enter the world. Some of the proceeds from the sale of this book will go to fight domestic violence and abuse and help many women and children escape dangerous living situations.

Ms. Thomas resides in Wisconsin with her two children and a beloved cat, but she hopes one day to live in France.
