I Dream of Jeannie had its’ own special brand of magic. Jeannie’s tirades which consisted of pouting sometimes throwing mini tantrums had their purpose. Jeannie was devilishly clever a woman out of her place and time unaccustomed to the customs of the 1960’s Cocoa Beach Florida. Jeannie did know how to toss her hair, giggle impishly, create havoc, and ask for forgiveness. Jeannie’s twin sister Jeannie II was vampish and sinister. Her cruelty seemed meaningless. Jeannie did know how to toss her hair, giggle impishly, create havoc, and ask for forgiveness. Jeannie sincerely cared for her family, even her mean sister Jeannie II and that love for her family seemed to be evident to Tony, though nothing else seemed to. Jeannie seemed to be rather isolated, in that she didn’t have any girlfriends, the only people she was allowed to associate with were Tony, Roger, occasionally Dr. Bellows, and her family/mainly Jeannie II. The master Gin made some appearances to further scare Jeannie into Tony’s arms.
