Not Another Boring Textbook
Young people are invariably wooed by liberal groups and the political parties affiliated with them. Yet, fundamentally, young people are conservative. They understand basic ideas such as individual liberty and rules of fair play. They don't discriminate the way liberals tend to, and they know that hard work should have some correlation to success.

Not Another Boring Textbook is written to those people, America's high school and early college students, in a clear and simple way. The author-a former high school teacher and current university professor-cuts through the liberal indoctrination program and reveals to our nation's youth how and why they are so conservative. He arms them with facts and explanations to help them identify and resist efforts by the Left's vast programs to use and manipulate them.

Explosive and a bit inflammatory, it is a funny and innovative way to present important political information to young people.

About the Author

ich Stowell teaches educational and mathematics at the university level.

He is the author of the book, Nine Weeks: a teacher's education in Army Basic Training, and Tunnel Club. Nine Weeks combines his experiences teaching in the civilian world and training in the Army.

Rich is a sergeant in the California National Guard's 69th Public Affairs Detachment. The 69th returned from an overseas deployment in 2009. He still writes about his experiences in the Army on his military blog, "My Public Affairs," a humorously progressive insight into all things military.

Before deploying, he taught at the high school and middle school levels and worked as a math coach to dozens of teachers across the state of California.

Rich holds a Masters degree in Mathematics Education and a Bachelors degree in History.

He currently resides with his wife and two sons in Salt Lake City, Utah.
