Overview

Bring happiness to your life by reading interesting real life stories about people that may be just like you. In each story you discover how people's thinking influenced their feelings and actions. Story topics range from friendships, fear, jealousy, bullying, and perfectionism to forgiveness.

The stories may be read in any order. You don’t have to read them all at once. As you read a story ask yourself what would you think in that situation? You discover how minding how you think can produce positive feelings and decrease the intensity of negative feelings. While you may never face that situation, you will learn a valuable lesson for living your life.

After each story the section “WHAT IS YOUR STORY?”provides questions that guide you toward a deeper understanding of how your thoughts impact your feelings. By answering the questions you practice minding your moods.

The final section, “WHAT WILL YOU WALK AWAY WITH?” encourages you to think about how to use what you learned from the story for yourself or a friend. You will get the most out of each story by exploring it with friends or relatives. With every story you become more skilled in minding your thoughts to mind your moods.

No matter how difficult the situation you may face, there is always something that you can learn from it. Spend some time thinking about your situation, and helpful thoughts and moods will come to you!

As you learn to mind how you think you will become very powerful. You learn that YOU are in control of your feelings! You are minding your moods! When you are in control of your feelings you make better decisions about what you do.
