This is a fun children’s picture book in Arabic. It is a story about a tenacious boy named Hashoomi who tries to persuade a man to taste cactus fruit. The man struggles to avoid Hashoomi not knowing how persistent he is. The story tackles the concept of openness to try new things before judging especially in trying new food. The words rhyme to make it musical and fun for young readers. The book consists of 36 illustrated pages which are in full color. Both the story and illustrations are by the author.
