About the Author

David S. Craig is one of Canada’s most prolific and successful dramatists. He has written 29 professionally produced dramatic works including his hit comedy Having Hope at Home and the internationally acclaimed Danny, King of the Basement. David's work has won numerous awards including The Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding Production (three times), the Chalmers New Play Award (three times), the Rideau Award, The Canada Council Prize, The Writer’s Guild Prize for Radio Drama and a Geoffrey. Toronto’s NOW Magazine named David, “One of Canada’s Top Twenty Playwrights.”


Walter Pitman’s long career has included serving as Director of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, president of Ryerson Polytechnical and Dean of Arts and Science at Trent University. He was Executive Director of the Ontario Arts Council, and NDP MP and MPP for Peterborough.


Richard Greenblatt (born in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian playwright who currently lives in Toronto. Greenblatt attended Dawson College. He later trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. In 1975 he returned to Canada and began his theatrical career. Since then he has been acting, directing, writing, and composing music for theatre, radio, television, and film across the country and abroad. He is best known for 2 Pianos, 4 Hands, which he wrote and performed with Ted Dykstra. It won both the Dora Mavor Moore Award and the Chalmers Award.
