Amber Jin graduated from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania as a member of the class of 2011. Post graduation, Amber served as an alumni interviewer for the University of Pennsylvania and assisted candidates with interview prep for top colleges such as University of Pennsylvania, Harvard, and Princeton.

In her professional career, Amber has worked as a product marketing manager at Microsoft, leading US partner marketing efforts for SQL Server and Microsoft's cloud computing stack. She has continued her tech career in the Bay Area and has reviewed and interviewed thousands of applicants for entry level, managerial, and executive level positions at Silicon Valley companies.

Amber is the founder of Get Into Ivy, an admissions consultancy providing online content and guides and one on one consulting for the college application process.
