Bishop, Dr. Artur Simonyan is the senior pastor of Word of Life Church Armenia for more than 25 years. Armenia is a Biblical country. Here, in the land of Ararat Noah made the first sacrifice of worship to God after the flood. It is the open door of Gospel to the Middle East. Word of Life Church Armenia is one of the biggest local Christian communities in the post-soviet region. Almost 10,000 people call it their spiritual home. Artur Simonyan is an international speaker who carries out missionary and apostolic work in different parts of the world being a spiritual leader for hundreds of pastors both in Armenia and abroad. Other priority of Artur Simonyan ministry is the work with young people. The 24-hour Youth Conference in the Yerevan Church unites more than 2.000 young people each year in seeking the Lord for twenty-four hours. Artur Simonyan has launched a new project called School of Gifts. The goal of this amazing school is to help Christians to reveal their gifts and to serve in the church with them. In January 2018, more than 1.000 people participated in the one-week study course. As a pastor Artur Simonyan is also focused in social work. Through the years, a vital support has been provided for thousands of needy families, orphaned and abused children, single mothers, socially deprived older people, alcoholics and drug addicts. By preaching the Gospel in prisons, hundreds of inmates gave their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. One of the most important visions is to establish a 24/7 ministry for prophetic prayer and worship which will be held 24 hours day and night. Dr. Artur Simonyan is an author of many books – “Family”, “Christian life”, “Mind renewal” etc. These books are available in more than 10 languages and become popular in the CIS and Middle East regions. He holds a degree of Doctor of Divinity in Pastoral ministry. Artur Simonyan is happily married to Lusine SImonyan who actively ministers alongside him. She is especially involved in youth work and creative cultural evangelization.
