Macavous began his journey as a writer with his first short film, After You, in 2019. The project was a collaboration between a friend, where it was eventually shown at the Valley Film Festival. He will earn his bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts in Creative Writing in 2021. Besides short films, Macavous is working on becoming a graphic novelist, where he will write for the doomsday, cyberpunk, and bio-punk genres. He hopes to reach a young adult audience with his theme of keep moving even at a low point in life. Macavous was always that one friend who gives the best advice but fails to use it for himself.
