Overview

"Anne Frank's Diary" ("Diary", "Vault. Diary in Letters") - records in Dutch, kept by a Jewish girl Anne Frank from June 12, 1942 to August 1, 1944 during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. From the beginning of 1944, Frank began to process his writings in literature, hoping to publish a diary after the liberation of the Netherlands, but this work remained unfinished. The last entry in the diary is dated August 1, 1944. And three days later, the Gestapo arrested all those hiding in the shelter. Anne Frank died in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. For two years in the underground, Frank wrote in her diary about the events at their Asylum, as well as about her own feelings and thoughts. In addition, the girl began to write short stories and quote excerpts from books read. The girl dreamed of becoming a famous journalist or writer. Her father, the only survivor of the Nazi terror, helped publish her diary in July 1947. Anne Frank's Diary has now been translated into more than 60 languages. The latest Ukrainian translation of Yaroslav Myshanych is presented in this edition.
