If I Were an Animal
If you could be any animal what would you be? Would you be a shark who rules the waters? Or maybe a monkey just hanging out in the trees? Would you be a beautiful butterfly floating in the breeze? Or a slow turtle, taking time to smell each flower it passes? If you could be any animal which one would you choose?

About the Author

Nicole Koetter grew up in the small town of McCook, studied art and education at Concordia University in Seward and currently resides in Lincoln, Nebraska. After straying away from her art major after school in order to pay the bills she's now back to her art and in full swing. If I Were an Animal will be released in 2012 and many more books are in the works.

Nicole puts a fresh twist on illustration by using typography (the art and technique of arranging type in order to make language visible) to create all of the images found in her books. She is excited to continue creating this type of art and plans to continue publishing her books for children of all ages.
