Jack Glad is the Weapons Flight Chief for the 122d Fighter Wing, Indiana Air National Guard, with over 17 years of dedicated service to his country. In his current role, Sergeant Glad is responsible for supervising and mentoring a team of Airmen, ensuring the meticulous maintenance and operational readiness of weapons systems on A-10C and F-16 aircraft. Known for his exceptional leadership and technical proficiency, Jack has played a key role in the mission success of the 122d Fighter Wing.
Jack enlisted in the Air National Guard in June 2007, motivated by a desire to serve his nation. He completed his technical training at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas, where he honed his skills in aircraft maintenance and weapons systems. Following his training, he was assigned to the 122d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, quickly rising through the ranks due to his commitment, skill, and dedication. His career has seen him deploy in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and INHERENT RESOLVE, where he contributed to critical missions, demonstrating his steadfast commitment to national defense.
