Rachel Smythe is a New York Times bestselling author, comic book artist and folklorist based out of Wellington, New Zealand. Smythe is the creator of the wildly popular webcomic, Lore Olympus, which debuted on Webtoon in 2018. Since then, several book adaptations of the widely read comic have been released as full–color graphic novels. Lore Olympus is the recipient of many awards including the Eisner in 2022 & 2023. Smythe often shares her creative process with fans via various social media platforms.
