Katherine Neville (b. 1945) is an American author of the popular adventure novels The Eight, A Calculated Risk, The Magic Circle, and The Fire, which is a sequel to The Eight. In addition to her career in books, Neville has been a bank executive, a consultant, a professional photographer, model, and portrait painter. She lives in Virginia and Washington, D.C.
