Bonnie Jo Campbell is an American author of several novels and short stories. Campbell's books include American Salvage, finalist for the National Book Award, Once Upon a River, a national bestseller, and most recently The Waters. The recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, AWP's Grace Paley Prize for Short Fiction, and a Pushcart Prize, she lives outside Kalamazoo, Michigan with donkeys.
